What an enjoyable Masters last weekend, full of every drama and emotion that you can feel on a golf course. Speith's demise showed us how important it is to maintain concentration and focus on the course to the bitter end. By his own admission it was just a momentary blip in concentration that cost him the tournament and if the best players in the works find it tough to stick to their routines, then it is something we should all work a little harder on! It was great viewing and I hope you enjoyed it.
Well done to Gerry Byrne and Dave Burke who won the pro shop sweepstake and receive a waterproof golf bag!
Best of luck to all our ladies and men's teams competing over the next week. Team golf comes around very early in the golf season and there are a lot of matches taking place. Well done to everyone involved!

Improve Your Putter Alignment for 2016!
Mark it, Aim it, Drain it!
How do you become a better putter? The most effective way would be to roll the ball on the intended line with good speed, but this sounds easier than it looks!
On your next round of golf, draw a line on your golf ball. Aim the line at the spot you have picked out, half way between you and the hole, and try to put a good roll on it! |
How does €25 for your old battery sound?
We’ll give you €25 when you trade in your old battery against a new Lithium one, or a trolley with a Lithium battery. Lithium offerings are quicker charging, last longer and work out cheaper in the long run – so this is the perfect time to say goodbye to Lead Acid.
