The time sheets are now live for members for our Open Week 2016 so dont forget to get your name down. As always our Open Week is a greatly supported festival of golf and I know we are all grateful to our sponsors for their continuous support.
If you have any trouble accessing the timesheets there is plenty of help on hand at the club and a full schedule of events is available online and in paper format.
Congratulations to Mark and Eoin McCormack who won the annual parent and child competition last Friday, once again generously sponsored by Conor and Kate Holmes.
Mark took full advantage of the momentum, obviously helped by Dads great golf, to win the Saturday competition with a great score of 43 points so well done on a great few days.
Although we have had a quiet year on the team front I know that there are still some teams battling away and best of luck to everyone donning the jersey over the coming weeks.
There is still lots to play for on an individual front so keep working on your game and as we are now past the seasons half way point it might be a good time to evaluate your season and reset some objectives for the remainder of the year.
Our Ladies Captain's Prize will be hotly contested this weekend and I want to wish all the Ladies playing and our Lady Captain the very best for a great day......and night! Well done to everyone involved on all fronts both playing and administration.

On the Saturday, 20 August we have a very exciting short game camp with both myself and our assistant Brian Sweeney who is gathering a great following for his expertise around the area of putting. The camp schedule is as follows:
- 9am -12pm - Chipping Pitching and Bunker play. Learn a simple approach and master the psychology of playing these shots under pressure!
- 12pm - 12.45pm - Lunch (included)
- 12.45pm - 2pm - Basics of putting and understanding how to use aimpoint.
