Why not make 2017 your best year on the fairways? Why not exactly, I guess we all have to answer that question and I'm sure as the seasons rolls forward many of you will adddress that question but for now and for those of you who have decided that this will be a successful golfing year it all starts with planning so here are a few ideas!

1) Decide what part of the game is holding you back the most, and be honest! It may be that you are inconsistent with your striking or that your accuracy is not what it once was. You may find yourself getting bogged down or frustrated on the course and need a change of approach to the mental challenges on the course. Whatever it is find the answers and go to work on it.

2) Find time! Isn't it amazing how much time we can find when we really WANT something! If we want to loose weight or we are starting a new business or we want to run a marathon or just start jogging when we want to we can find the time. Even for the most busy of us we can find 10 minutes every day to do something that gets us closer to our goal.

3) Make mistakes! Mistakes are the greatest learning tools available. Without them we can't learn, it's called a growth mindset! For example, if you are working on your chipping, see mistakes as opportunities to analyse, make the necessary changes and try another shot. Look to get just a little bit better with every practise session and be constructive in your analysis.

On Wednesday, 5 April between 10am to 11am I will be hosting Ladies on course lessons on our new holes over 3 weeks.
