In this week's email, we take a closer look at product that's currently sitting on the shelves in-store, our video of the week is something that you have probably never seen before, whilst we also shed some light on to what has us more excited than usual this week. Club news

Captain's Prize results

Last weekends Captain's Prize showed how our course can show its teeth as everyone battled the fast greens, lush rough and Captain's day nerves. In the end our own John Daly shot a fantastic score of 63 to lead the way and we wish all the competitors this weekend the very best of luck.

This weekend it will pay to be below the hole and keep out of trouble, sometimes bogey can be a decent score so play smart golf, stroke play is all about making good decisions and he who makes the least mistakes will do ok!

In the golfing world this week…

Did you see Tiger’s teaser on social media last week? Woods posted a video of him practicing his pitching on Thursday (watch video) with the comment, ‘Dr. gave me the ok to start pitching’. You’ll be aware that the 14-time major winner is recovering from his fourth back surgery but the question still remains: will he ever return to his best?

Taking place this week is the 2017 World Long Drive Championship in America. Britain’s best hope is Joe Miller - last year’s champion - but it’ll take something hugely impressive to beat World Number One Maurice Allen, whose longest drive this season is a mere 484 yards...

Improver evening classes

- €80 includes golf balls at the range and tuition. Notes will also be included.
- No major change....get the most from what you have!


Saturday short game classes

- Saturday, 14 and 21 October 10am-12noon
- Week 1 - Pitching and chipping
- Week 2 - Bunker play and putting
- €75 for two weeks or €45 for one week. Includes tuition and notes.
