Club finals

Congratulations to everyone who competed in the club finals this week and to all of you who took part. Alas there has to be a winner but I'm sure those of you who got to the latter stages enjoyed the excitement and being "in the mix" to the end. These competitions are great for your game and keeps the season going to the bitter end before you turn to next years goals.

Member shout out

Congratulations to Mark Duffy who finished runner up at the Irish Mid Am in Clandeboye last week and also to Jonathan Yates who was runner up at the Nassau Invitational in Long Island NY. Great performances from both the lads who did themselves and the club very proud.

Ladies group classes

Our ladies group classes kicked off this week and we worked on driving and the things you need to know when working on hitting it further and straighter. The goal for this class is to give you some key points to practise when working on driving and next week we will be working on fairway woods and how to get a better strike and distance from the fairway and semi rough.

Winter has not quite arrived in terms of temperatures.....YET! It is enevitable that it will so we have stocked up on some fantastic winter wear from lined sweaters, thermos jackets, Under Armour cold gear, PING and ProQuip rainwear and also the ladies favourite....the FootJoy winter boot!
