Changes in the shop

This week will be Jacks last week at the Pro Shop as he embarks on an opportunity in the U.K where he has family and as most of you know will be close to his beloved Watford FC.

Jack has been a popular and devoted employee since joining the team back in April of last year and we wish him only the best for his future and although it may not be in golf I know he will be highly thought of and successful.

Jacks last day will be on Thursday and for those of you who don’t get to see him I know he would want me to convey his thanks and appreciation for his time at Naas.

Our new assistant is Sean Marks and he will be around over the next few days getting used to how things are done and saying hello to members.

The 16th at TPC Scottsdale is turned into a sporting arena with grandstands lining the entire par-3 to create space for 16,000 spectators on the 163-yard hole, referred to by many as the Colosseum.

It’s easily the closest that golf comes to being played in a stadium like football or rugby, and the atmosphere surrounding the 16th is like nothing else on the golfing calendar.
