Open week ended last Sunday, a long but successful week for the club with great turnouts every day despite some wet days and afternoons. Thank you to all the sponsors, participants and all the staff on a great week. We look forward to another successful Open Week next year.
Our annual Pro Am is coming up soon and is once again sponsored by Mr Michael McGinley and Sigma. We are very grateful to Mick for his sponsorship and I am sure you will all join me in wishing Paul the very best of luck in the upcoming Ryder Cup at Gleneagles. The Europeans are looking very strong particularly with so much doubt around some of the key American players. Whatever the result Paul will do a fantastic job and I know he is really looking forward to getting in to the thick of the action. The Pro Am date is FRIDAY 29th August and once again we will have a shotgun start at 9am and 2.30pm and the cost is €300 for the morning and €350 for the afternoon. There is only one or two spaces available in the afternoon but morning times are available so if you would like to enter a team or discuss please contact either myself or Denis.
This Thursday we have our PING G30 fitting night at Naas Driving Range. This is some very exciting new product, forgiveness, always a trait of PING, but this time there has been a little more focus on distance with the "Turbulator" technology. There will be lots more information on the night so if you would like to book a fitting please click here or contact the Pro Shop.
Best of luck to our Naas contingent at the Kerry Boys this week along with Annie Harpur at Lahinch and Jack Hume at the Home Internationals. We wish them all well!
