Rugby World Cup
With the Rugby World Cup coming up it brought my thoughts to the slogan, "the team of us" which I believe encapsulates the feeling most sports fans have towards the team as the excitement builds up to Japan in a few weeks’ time. I am no rugby aficionado that's for sure, I have been more intrigued with the skills of the coaching staff and the organisation of management structures.
Joe Schmidt much like Jim Gavin of Dublin have taken coaching in their respective sports to a new level and Saturday's performance in Croke Park was an example of clinical planning, accurate assessment and strategy as Dublin picked apart a young Kerry team that will no doubt be back in force next year. Just like the successes of Joe and the Irish rugby team, only 10 months ago, it was fantastic to watch our little country rise to such heights. Strategy, planning, organisation and desire can, when put together achieve great things.
In Joe we trust and hopefully we will see one more masterstroke from a coach I think we all admire and have great respect for.
The team of us... come on Ireland!

Benefits Of A Custom Fitting
There are windows in the year when golfers assess their equipment and look at upgrading what they have in their arsenal of clubs. The winter can be a great time to bed in some new equipment or simply use the time to look at what you are using and see if there may be a better option for you.
Maybe your game has suffered this season, maybe that old stiff shaft is now much harder to use or maybe your irons are leaking more left and right these days. Just like everything, our bodies change over time, flexibility, strength, concepts all move like a meandering river. We like to think things don’t change but we all know, even deep down, that they do.
If some of these thoughts are lingering in your head why not book a club fitting where I can analyse what you are currently using, show you the differences that the correct length, lie angle, shaft flex and weight and even grip thickness, can make to your game. There is no obligation to buy but at the very least you will walk away knowing if your equipment is right for you and if not, what options are available to you.

TrackMan Gapping Session One of the most important questions you need to be able to answer in golf is "how far do you hit your clubs?" In order to know which club to hit in a certain situation, you need to know your exact carry distances. A TrackMan Gapping Session gives you the relevant information to help you make the correct decisions on the golf course saving you shots. During this session, you will hit a series of shots with every club in your bag to get accurate measurements for each club. A detailed report will be given to you after the session. |
|
TrackMan Combine Test TrackMan Combine is a standardised test that enables you to identify the strengths and weaknesses in your golf game. Discover the clear correlation between your TrackMan Combine results and your success on the golf course. The TrackMan Combine consists of 60 shots hit to selected distances. TrackMan scores each shot on a scale of 0 - 100 based on your accuracy. When the session is complete, every golfer receives a full appraisal and follow-on action plan. |

It's great walking to the first tee with a new driver in hand (that's been custom fitted to suit your swing, of course) that you know will help you outdrive your playing partners, but sometimes it can be a simple change to the ball that you're using that has the biggest effect on your game. |
