Challenge Tour

Best of luck this week to Naas members Jonathan Yates and Conor O’Rourke playing in Challenge Tour at Headfort GC in Kells Co.Meath.

 

County Final

Big Congratulations to Naas member Austin Bergin Chairman of Senior Hurling in Naas and to all the lads involved from NGC who won the County Final after 17 years! What a great achievement by everyone involved.

Rahmbo Runs Riot

To some back in his homeland, Jon Rahm is already the King of Spain and he cemented his status as Spain’s number one golfer with a five-shot victory in a home-grown top three lockout at the Open de Espana.

In the end, it proved quite comfortable for Rahm who converted his five-shot overnight lead into victory ahead of Cabrera-Bello (-17) and Del Val (-15).

Perhaps more importantly for Rahm, the win - his third of 2019 - puts him in pole position in the lucrative Race to Dubai standings, leapfrogging Open Champion Shane Lowry to top spot.

The victory also sees Rahm jump to fourth in the World Rankings, with three Europeans currently occupying three of the top five positions (Rory McIlroy second & Justin Rose fifth).

Ladies group lessons will begin on Saturday 26th October 10am-11am.

The class will run for 6 weeks and is only 80 p/p.

Short Game Clinic - Saturday 7th November 10am-12 noon 

Our last Saturday clinic was well attended and our next date is this Saturday 7th November. The format is a combination of the short game and putting and has proven very popular, all details are provided below:

  • Learn what you NEED to know and forget everything else!
  • There is no ONE way, I will help you to find YOUR way to a better short game.
  • Get the most from all those wedges in your bag!

My goal is to make the short game and putting as simple as it should be and to take away all the complicated information that floats around but only serves to confuse rather than help you.

  • 8 people max 4:1 student coach ratio
  • 1-hour short game 1-hour putting
  • Light lunch included
