Masters week has finally arrived, and as always it will provide us with great entertainment over the next few days. We have 5 Irish players competing this week, which is a record. It represents the growing strength of Irish golf and wouldn't it be fantastic if we had an Irish winner of the Masters. It is bound to happen at some stage!
I think Jordan Speith will go close, yet Rory is the man to beat according to the bookies. However, you just never know at Augusta. I never lay a bet at the Masters until Saturday morning as many players will play themselves out of the event over Thursday and Friday and someone always charges over the weekend.
Whoever wins, I hope you enjoy watching it, if you have Sky TV you will be glued to it from Monday. I never thought I would see the day when a Monday practice round gathered so much attention, but that is the thrill of the Masters and it grabs the attentions of every golfer. We have some Naas memebers attending this year so we wish them a great week and no doubt plenty of stories from the fairways of Augusta.
On Thursday, 23 of April, we have a Callaway fitting night. Times are now available and you can book a fitting by contacting the Pro Shop or by clicking here.
The new Alpha, Big Bertha and XR range are really worth looking at, particularly if you are looking for some more distance. I have been using the hybrids recently and I am very impressed with how easy they are to get in to the air and the new irons have performed really well in fittings, so I recommend that you take a look and see for yourself.
Throughout the month of April we have another special offer, this time on ladies and gents wetsuits with 30% off for the month. The Sunderland and PING range of suits carry a 3 year guarantee and we have only a small range available at this price but they represent a great bargain for that quality of suit so take a look next time you are in.
Don't forget we have some great value in ex demo/ fitting stock. I have included some putters to this so now we have drivers available at €150, fairways and putters at €125 and Hybrids and putters at €100. All items in these bags are available to try and you can always swop some driver and fairway shafts where available.
