Well done to all our teams who made it through last week! It gets tougher every round but keep up the great work you are all putting in. Best of luck to all our ladies competing in the Ladies Presidents Prize; first major of the year!!
Best of luck also to Conor O Rourke and Jonathan Yates in the East of Ireland. Also to Jack Hume who I will be caddying for at the Irish Open in Royal County Down. Yesterday he played with Ben An last week's winner at Wentworth and Mikko Ilonnen last year's champion at Fota Island. Next week I will give you a full account of what has already been an exciting week.
I spoke to Paul McGinley yesterday who asked me to pass on his best wishes to everyone at the club and as he often does, regaled fond memories of his time at Naas. He also assures me that he is conscious of getting down for a visit in the near future and I know we will all look forward to that.
Jack plays at 2:00pm Thursday and 9:00am Friday.
Thank you to everyone who attended my short game masterclass last Saturday. It was great to be able to answer some questions and untangle some of the confusion golfers have when it comes to the short shots. It only takes a small improvement in your short game to see a dramatic change in your scores. My next date for my short game masterclass is Saturday, 20 June at 9:00am-12:00pm. If you would like to reserve your place please click here, or call or text me on 0868326676, there are only four places available as our last class was oversubscribed and requests have already been made for this new date.
In the meantime enjoy getting out and taking advantage of the fine evenings!
