Congratulations to Terry Jones, winner of our Presidents Prize last Sunday! Terry had a great score of nett 66 in tough conditions. Despite it being dry and bright it was a little windy and the course is playing tricky as we all know, with fast greens and long green side rough testing even the best of short games.....and the most patient!!

Congratulations also go to Paul Conway who won the Millicent Intermediate Scratch Cup last weekend. Paul had a great score on the day of 9 over gross and looks forward now to getting in to junior scratch territory once again. 

Paul had a lesson from me last week and although the adjustment was small and simple, he found it very helpful. It's a game of inches and we are only that away from our best golf, so if you are in limbo with your game....hang in there, we don't lose it we just forget sometimes!!



Best of luck to our club teams playing this weekend and well done to all our teams still battling away through the competitive summer schedule. Well done to Conor O'Rourke who was selected once again for the Leinster Team at the interprovincials in July and good luck to both himself and Jack Hume at the Brabazon Trophy this week
