Greetings from Gavin Lunny | Naas Golf Club - PGA Golf Professional |
Open week begins this Friday and it looks set to be another busy week for the club. Time sheets are very busy, but there are some morning slots still available during the week. Hopefully the weather holds up, the course is in great shape and I know we are all looking forward to the week ahead. We will have plenty of Open Week Specials at the Pro Shop and don't forget our double your money competition on the 14th hole!!
Many thanks to all of you who attended my chipping class on Wednesday this week.
It was great to see so many people committed to improving their game and to follow on from chipping I will be hosting a pitching class on Wednesday, 19 August from 6-7pm. My focus will be on shots from 20-50 yards and will provide you with a simple method to tackle the "half" shots that can be difficult for even the most skilful of golfers.
Please click here or call/text me on 0868326676 if you would like to attend. The cost is €25 per person and will be limited to five people.
Our Pro-Am timesheet is available online and we have had a great response with only morning times now available. If you would like to book a team or put your name forward to be paired up with other individual entries please feel free to contact either myself or Denis. The cost per team is €330 or €110 per person and includes a meal after the round.
In the mean time I hope you enjoy open week and I look forward to seeing everyone throughout the week, please feel free to contact the pro shop if you need any assistance or have any queries on availability.

Play with your head: part 2 |
Do your golf shoes really fit you properly? |
The reason we ask is because this ball has been getting a lot of good reviews. It uses a low compression core to help amateurs compress the ball more easily, so it's long. You'll get good reaction around the greens, too, because of the softest and most durable Urethane cover Callaway has ever made. |
